I don't want to say too much because this anime is best when you don't know what's coming and the mystery makes you want to keep watching and it's only 12 episodes so definitely something worth considering to watch on Halloween.

Shiki is a slow-moving thriller about a group of vampires trying to take over a human village who refuse to acknowledge their existence this one is not for the faint of hearing while only sporadically terrifying Shiki rewards patience with an unforgettable final stretch of episodes,

that is so unapologetically lawless and graphic with challenging themes and realistic if not necessarily likable characters it subverts expectations by recontextualizing the idea of good and evil humanity and,

the Shiki's capacity for horrific acts fuel the anime's psychological terror culminating in the last act that is unsettling in its openness and another good pick for horror anime to watch this Halloween.

Corpse party tortured souls surely with a title like that how can these series be anything but unpleasant based on the hit Japanese survival horror game,

we follow a group of students who end up transported to a school plagued by violent ghosts and specters not only must they unravel the mystery of heavenly hosts elementary to escape but go up against the murderously psychotic Sachiko,

needless to say not only do some of these poor souls end up meeting their demise but some of their de*aths are beyond excessive don't blame us if you can't look at scissors for a while.

What happens when you take body snatches and give them the ability to mutate their human hosts into instruments of de*ath a whole lot of people getting sliced to ribbons there's more when parasitic creatures invade the earth,

they start taking over the bodies of any inhabitants they come across able to turn their appendages into various weapons luckily for our boy his parasite wasn't able to fully infect him,

becoming a separate entity in his right hand forced to work together in a bid for survival the two are thrust into conflict with both races treating us to some Stella fights genuine scares and the unnerving truth that anyone into Shinichi's life could potentially be an enemy.
