Haikyuu is a sports anime series created by Haruichi Furudate, A young and ambitious boy who wants to become a great volleyball player,

Despite being on the short side to jump to heights that almost exceed the level of his love for volleyball this love was so great that Hinata not only revived the volleyball Club in his middle school he actually managed to bring his team to a tournament. And this anime is so popular I don't think I need to explain anything more.

2. Welcome to the Ballroom:


I bet a lot of you are surprised to see welcome to the ballroom but believe it or not dancing is, in fact, a competitive sport with styles ranging from square dancing to breakdancing to the traditional dances of various indigenous people,

This is about a shy middle schooler who's happiest when he goes unnoticed when the dashing professional dancer comes in to save him,

He even invites the boy to visit his esteemed dance studio and shows off his skills with that chance encounter that Dhara who was initially unmotivated with his life finds his calling and begins to put his best foot forward along with classmates Shizuku to become a professional dancer.

3. Koroko no basket:


Koroko no basket is a sports comedy anime series, Tatsuya was famous once without anyone knowing belonging to a beloved basketball team seen as the generation of wonders he was like a phantom sixth man overseen by fans.

It is such an interesting sports anime to watch is how unlike the majority of protagonists in sports anime that Tatsuya isn't incredibly athletic like his teammates he doesn't even shoot to score any points when he plays due to him being much shorter than many other basketball players.

After they all split up he now joins a small basketball team in a new high school and is determined to take on his old mates one by one.

4. Slam Dunk:


Slam Dunk is a sports anime series, combining high school sports drama with violence and gangs, our main character Hanamichi who was suffering under his childish temper unlucky with girls, 

And angry about their reactions he tries to impress his newest crush by joining the high school's basketball team but what he thinks to be a sport for losers turns out to be one of his hardest challenges yet.

5. Run With The Wind:


Our Mc is a down-on-his-luck former ace Runner of Sendai Josie high school from losing his apartment deposit in a polo game of Mahjong to being caught shoplifting at a convenience store things aren't going great for Kaoru,

But when a fellow University student named haiji sees the former Aces agility in action he offers him a place to stay at an apartment along with eight other students to which Kakeru accepts only to find out it was a bait and switch plan by haiji to get him to join the can say University Track Club and participate in the grand marathon.

6. Yuri on ice:


Yuri on ice is the very first anime to showcase the sport of figure skating,

Sometimes life has its tools to surprise you and lead one's way in a direction that was purely unexpected for young adult ice skater yuri this happens when he puts his skating career on hold after having horrible defeats,

His renewed passion burning bright Yuri's determined to make his second chance with the gold.

Next on the sports anime list is,

7. Yawamushi pedal:


It features the sport of competitive cycling but funnily enough, the protagonist of this anime Sakamichi didn't start initially wanting to be a cyclist,

He was an otaku who tried to revive the school anime club on his own,

He is he challenged his Sakamichi to a race on the promise that he'd join the anime club if he won.

8. One Out:


One out is a sports anime television series created by Shinobu kaitani being the worst team in the baseball league is hard especially when it's everything you love and want desperately to play in a massive tournament as a team where gambling for money has horrifying consequences a trainer must find a responsibility to both sides to be successful.

9. Hajime no Ippo:


Fighting spirit is created by George this exceptional and beautiful coming-of-age story explores the only compression for a young teen's anger frustration and fear boxing,

It's a bit of good old-fashioned originally made in the golden anime era of 2000 Hajime no Ippo,

Ippo was a weakling that couldn't defend himself and was always running errands for bullies who would later beat on him he didn't want to change himself but he wasn't sure how he always used to help his mother in the family business,

He is picked up by a gym owner and introduced into the world of boxing.

The last one on the sports anime list is,

10. Ace of Diamond:


Ace of a diamond is a sports anime series created by Yuji hunting for being special will lead to failure but being extraordinary through natural ways is the way to go for our Mc this was never a problem since as a high school famous basketball pitcher he naturally developed a play style that is unique among players approached by the professional league he enters the rabbit hole of a different world filled with unforgiving rivals.
